Queplix Secure Data Virtualization Platform

The Queplix Secure Data Virtualization (QSDV) Platform is designed to scale from a handful of applications to massive deployments across hundreds of data sources. QSDV can be deployed using one or more hardened appliance models or software images, based on customer requirements.

QSDV Platform Features

Key Capabilities

  • Source Adapter Library: An extensive library of pre-built source adapters to major enterprise data-intensive and transactional applications, such as CRM, ERP, CSM, PSM, etc.
    • Source adapters allow the QSDV platform to identify and create the virtual data catalog using specific objects out of the box
    • Source adapters contain security and object definitions as well as original application-defined structures to identify and correctly globalize objects including custom created objects
  • Crawler: Connect and Crawl multiple data sources without displacement, disruption or disruptive processing load on source system(s).
    • Ability to specify crawling parameters; schedule either on-demand or real-time queries
  • Data Publishing API: Publish Data to consuming applications through secure and standards-driven API
    • Abstract and Globalize Database Objects - Publish data objects in form of views and procedures for consumption via ODBC, JDBC or ADO.NET.Web Services
    • Supports XML over HTTP - Allows for interjection of custom logic during the request/response phase of the Web service
    • Packaged Apps - Connect to packaged enterprise apps using our pre-built library of source adapters and export to any application using source adapters
    • Data Synchronization between applications
    • Maintenance of all records in original enterprise application through the QSDV catalogue
  • Data Access Security: Apply and monitor Data Access Security extracted from original sources and Globalize across multiple enterprise data sources.
    • Extracts ACL from original data sources
    • Globalizes common access rules across your enterprise data
    • Enforces source security on a per-user level
    • Reports data access exceptions indicating when common objects have security conflicts in source systems
    • Real-time data audit and logging for compliance reporting
  • Authentication: Mutual authentication for published services, web service data sources and Oracle databases. Certificate based and WSS authentication support.
    • LDAP and AD integration
    • Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) - Leverage third-party systems for authentication, such as RBACK or Siteminder
    • The QSDV platform acts as the system of record for security roles and profiles
    • Late Binding – Use existing user ID and password to pass through to QSDV for authentication
