How does QueWeb breathe new life into your Vantive applications?

QueWeb eliminates the need to maintain two discrete Vantive applications—a desktop-based “fat-client” application and a web-based VanWeb application. 

QueWeb is built on the standard J2EE platform. QueWeb’s architecture is multi-layered, with clear separation between the core layer and the customization layer. This allows virtually unlimited customization ability and seamless future system upgrades that do not require reapplying old customizations.  All of the business rules and GUI elements remain intact as the QueWeb core is upgraded. 

QueWeb Customer Care Enterprise edition is database-independent. In fact, QueWeb GUI and Business Rules can be reverse-engineered from the existing Vantive-based data model, eliminating the need to create a new database or create any changes within the existing database. This is accomplished by using Queplix’s proprietary QueCrawler© tool which discovers objects in the database and allows it to mimic and replicate business logic in Vantive stored procedures.

QueWeb’s user interface is HTML-based and can be adapted to mimic or resemble any of the desired GUI.  With QueWeb, training is a non-issue, since the look and feel of the QueWeb application can be adopted to resemble your current Vantive application. Using HTML visual tool and JSP scripting layer, Vantive look and feel, as well as Vantive specific business rules (either out-of-the-box, or custom) can be easily implemented.

QueWeb’s J2EE architecture is comprised of three independent layers: Core, Business Rules and GUI. The Business Rules and GUI layers can be customized to fit individual business requirements to Nth degree.

QueWeb can be integrated with any third-party application that has an open API on the server or client side or using Webservices.
