Defect Management

Any reported Issue captured in QueWeb can be upgraded to a Defect record. Once the Defect is created from a Ticket it can take a life of its own. Defects are designed to define and track progress and resolve the actual issue with the product you support.

Defects in QueWeb have a separate workflow and life cycle process, along with notifications and escalations targeted to streamline internal Defect resolution process. You may choose to inform the Customer once the Defect had been resolved and product fixed or a patch released. At that time pending Tickets can be closed as well.
