In contrast, QueCloud is based on an industry-standard J2EE API and can easily integrate with any other systems using Web Services and SOAP architecture.

Often, legacy applications are not compatible with new versions of operating systems and database engines. In some cases, companies are forced to pay extra fees to maintain an older OS version, just to keep legacy applications running on it. In many cases, traditional application user interfaces are outdated, inflexible, and cannot take advantage of modern Web UI advances.   • Multi-language support with UTF-9 and UNICODE
  • Screens can be rapidly customized in virtually any language
  • Permissions are application-controlled, with security provided by the Java Application Server and Cloud Authentication protocols

Expensive development

Legacy applications typically use Stored Procedures, VBA, and forms designers and tools to implement new functionality. Administrators and developers are trained to implement changes to the system within the sometimes restrictive boundaries of legacy customizations. With QueCloud, you can use more advanced and lower-level integrated development environments (Such as IBM's Eclipse) to implement any changes to the system, GUI or Business logic. Java is a powerful language and QueCloud does not require developers to write complex Server-side code. Most customizations are implemented in the Business layer, and are written in JSP. However, no boundaries for the customizations are imposed by Java IDE.
