Siebel Conversion
Queplix' unique QueCloud technology salvages investments and data in outdated legacy business application implementations, while migrating them to a more scalable cloud platform. The process is designed to replicate custom business rules, preserve legacy data, and mimic existing user interfaces – ultimately saving up to 80% of initial legacy application investments and minimizing the retraining costs.
"QueCloud breathes new life into PeopleSoft and Siebel implementations, giving users the freedom to choose their own upgrade path, and continually develop new functionality and modules as they need them," said Steven Yaskin, CTO of Queplix. "Now, businesses can finally convert the value that has long been entrenched in legacy systems to support current business needs and standards - with minimal disruption to internal operations and processes and adapt the premise which the cloud computing."
QueCloud is a web-based customer care application for companies to deploy enterprise-grade contact centers, help desks, and various eService capabilities. QueCloud is fully customizable and configurable, so users can meet 100% of their business requirements right out of the gate – and continue to meet them as the company and its processes evolve. Built on Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) with a thin-client architecture, QueCloud can be installed in private clouds or public cloud providers such as EC2.
How does QueCloud Customer Care solution breathe new life into your Siebel applications?
- Queplix eliminates the need to migrate to a new database schema, perform costly data migration and data mapping. This is accomplished by using QueCrawler to identify business objects from the database and generate QueCloud screens automatically to mimic Siebel screens within the web interface.
- QueCloud's user interface is HTML-based thin client and can be adapted to mimic or resemble any of the desired GUI. With QueCloud, user training is minimized since the look and feel of the QueCloud application is adopted to resemble legacy Siebel applications. Using QueCloud's HTML visual modeling tools and scripting layer, your current legacy system's specific business rules and screens (either out-of-the-box, or custom) can be easily implemented in a short period of time.
- QueCloud can be integrated with any third-party application that has an open API; integration is also available through web services.
- Since QueCloud is built on J2EE architecture, it assures that your company will always be able to run on supported hardware, operating system and maintain latest database compatibility.
- QueCloud's J2EE architecture is multi-layered, with clear separation between the core, business objects and the presentation layers. This allows virtually unlimited customization ability and seamless future system upgrades that do not require reapplying existing customizations. All of the business rules and GUI elements remain intact as the QueCloud core is upgraded.
- QueCloud system can be deployed on your hardware behind the firewall (on-premises solution), or hosted by cloud services providers such as Amazon EC2 or Google, while connecting to your private data sources through a secure tunneling connector (Hybrid Cloud approach).
